I had just looked at Webslides as well, Trailfire is a different take, but this does look really interesting. I think I will go and have a look at Diigo (behind Webslides) again once they have released the new UI.
Also, our Agenda (and other group docs) could perhaps go to the C3 wiki, and the C3 wiki should be the same as the ELP wiki. Which wiki?
This raises the bigger issue of mapping out a design for the ELP information ecosystem. I think it is a priority we do this before the ELP Teachers' Site on Moodle takes on a life of its own.
I would like to show everyone my take on 23 Things that I have been working on. It could inform what the ELP information system looks like.
Best,
Owen
Hello again,
This may be a useful new tool. I looked at the sample slide show on technology in education and it has some interesting web sites that we may want to check out.
Reminder: Our first meeting this term will be 8:30 on Friday the 21st. Please let me know if you have any agenda items. So far I have:
1. Use of Moodle Wiki for teachers to post office hours next term.
2. ELP calendar. How can we best set this up?
3. Status of the Google domain site
4. 23 things up-dates?
Cheers,
Bill

WebSlides Preview Invitation
Dear Diigo User,
I would like to invite you to preview an exciting new service we are developing. WebSlides is an incredibly easy way to convert your bookmarks to slideshows. You can experience WebSlides at slides.diigo.com. You can also see a fresh review here: WebSlides - Transforms Bookmarks Once Again
If you like what you see, I would appreciate if you can help get Webslides noticed by blogging, bookmarking and Digging! It is the appreciation by our users that keep us working day and night, and weekends too :-) .
Today, we are also showcasing Webslides in the LaunchSquad at the Office 2.0 Conference, held on Sept 6-7 in San Francisco, where Diigo is a Silver sponsor.
For the past 10 months, the entire Diigo team (now 10 people strong!) have been developing an exciting new version, which feature substantially improved user experience, and a slew of innovative and powerful functionalities.
Throughout this entire fall season, you should see us rolling out a lot more exciting stuff -- this is indeed a season of harvest for us. Stay tuned!
Please feel free to contact me if you have any question or comment.
Your sincerely,
Dr. Wade Ren
