Re: Draft of C3 Plan Survey for after Jan. 22 presentation

Thanks, Bill. How about you, Ged and Owen? Have you tried taking it and any suggestions?

Hi everyone,

I think I made all of the suggested revisions. Could you try taking the survey and let me know any other ideas for improving it?

Hello all,

I have up-dated the 1/22 meeting outline based on our discussions yesterday.  If the basic content looks OK to you all, I will begin making a PP presentation. You should be able to still see the document in your googledocs accounts.  If not, let me know.

Still be to determined is what screen shot samples we want to show to illustrate how the new services will be fun/useful/better .  I'll try to find things, but if any of you have ideas, please send them along.

Also, please give Mark any ideas you have for the survey.

Additional notes from yesterday:

1. It seems to be best to use the corporate Google account (helpicu) as our archive site and ask people to access it by opening a second browser. The main purpose of this site would be to house a Google Reader that would subscribe to all work-related tags, document feeds, blogs, etc.

2. We need to consider how we can best archive documents which are not suitable to be published.  One idea is to create a second corporate Google account which could be included in shared, but not published documents.  The Director would control access to this account.

3. We need everyone to have a Google account and to either use it as their main work email system (with ICU mail forwarded to it), or to forward their Gmail email to whatever email system they do use for work.  Gmail addresses will be the default work emails from April 1. 2009. We will encourage people to use Gmail as that will be the easiest and simplest in the long run, but some people may find that too much to deal with all at once.

4. We decided not to try to demonstrate anything in the meeting on the 22nd using a live internet connection.  We will need to find a room for the meeting that has a large screen and good data projector system to show the slides and screen shots and where we can have small group discussions.

5. We will need to meet again prior to the 22nd.  How does Friday the 11th first period sound?

Cheers,

Bill
