Hi Bill and everyone,
I think simplified versions of Owen's notes about the selling points of Delicious etc. could be good additions to insert just before the screen shots.
I would be happy to make some slides to insert...but I don't want to complicate the process at this stage either, so I will leave my comment at the above.
I felt the slides/plan we had on Thu would work well to get the C3 plan launched on Tuesday.
I will do the set-up and take-down of the slide show...Is there anything else I could do to help the presentation? If there is, please don't hesitate to let me know.

I've shared a document with you called "ELP C3: Presentation One - Speaking note suggestions for the tech":

Some Suggested Speaking Notes on the Techie Bits (Your revisions are welcomed)
In this part of the presentation I think we need to emphasise that individual use of selected, simple social technologies will transform how we currently work.
The practices the technologies can be leveraged to support will simplify work and make work easier to do at the personal level and at level of the program.
However, we should not shy away from giving people a sense of the size and scope of the changes C3 is promoting.
What follows is a first draft. It contains some unnecessary repetition. It is also slightly evangelical in tone, which you might like to edit out while still preserving the message ;-).
In suggested order of mention:
(** Offline access is just around the corner!)
Delicious
- Collaboration: Have a distributed database for all courses and admin functions. Yay!
- Accessible: Shared resources and materials are all in one place, accessible online anywhere, any time
- Automatic: Database is refreshed via 'two-click' individual work practice
Google Reader
- Automatic: Receive hourly updates of materials for individually selected courses etc. via your browser to your desktop
- Accessible: All shared materials & resources all in one place, accessible online anywhere, any time
- Smart: Want something, can't quite remember what it was called or who the author was? Google search works, fast
Google Docs
- Convenient: Create & access your documents, spreadsheets, and presentations online anywhere, any time
- Collaborate: Invite others to work with you on one document, say goodbye to creating multiple copies as email attachments
- Publish: Two-clicks and add your materials to the courses/admin database hosted at Delicious
Gmail
- Accessible: All your emails available in one place, accessible online anywhere, any time
- Simplify: One message out & all replies = one conversation; inboxes decluttered instantly
- Convenient: Have a complete archive (no delete)
- Smart: Integrates with Google Calendar, automatically senses dates and times in messages
- Essential: Is the 'beating heart' of 'Goffice'
Google Calendar
- Collaboration: Leverage easier and simpler program-level coordination (Director-Assistant Director-ELP Office-Coordinators-Teachers) and course-level coordination (coordinator-teachers, teachers-teachers)
- Communication: e.g. In-house ELT conferences calendar
