Collecting details on two or more pages (in this case, teachers' usernames & help requests) that are part of a multi-task activity is a job ideally suited to the ELP Teachers' Homepage wiki. It may not be possible to ready that in the time left to us however.
We will have to have a solution that works though. I am a bit tight for time Sunday (TW papers & sundry ARW things), I might have a bit of time at the end of today. Tomorrow early & P1 is busy for me, P2 is clear though.
Best,
Owen.

Hi Bill and Owen,Unfortunately, yesterday and today my home computer is having trouble with opening Google Docs, so I'm not able to weigh in on the Identity debate or the polishing of the basic directions very well.
I would guess that a dual solution of having the online spreadsheet form, but also allowing people to just send info by email as well might be best.See you on Tuesday!Mark

This is more useful than the current identity data collecting document.
To satisfy privacy concerns, I recommend:
- First names only (surnames can be added to in-house version later)
- Email, include username only. This will thwart spammers email bots e.g. gedoc27@gmail.com
The data can be harvested as a spreadsheet in the same way the current form works, BUT new!, spreadsheets can now be used as a form. To see what I mean, in the spreadsheet, click 'share", then work through the screens that follow "to fill out a form". I played with this yesterday, but did not have enough time to work up a solution - it could probably work, but I am not sure it would be the easiest solution in this particular case.
- Delicious username is OK, it is public anyway

I've shared a document with you called "ELP 2.0 identity data":

Hi,
I created this spreadsheet to populate with the Gmail, Delicious and
other data that we normally publish. I wasn't sure whether to make
this data public or not. I noticed that Owen has created a simpler
form, but one that may still be public. We need to decide on the
public/private question, but ultimately I think having the data in a
spreadsheet that can be sorted may be most helpful.
Let me know what you think.
Bill
