My mentoring for Atsuko Tsuda and Atsuko Watanabe was very productive, but the one hour session went by very quickly and they still need more help before they can become active contributors. I'll meet with Kota today.
For a meeting, I tend to be free on Mon/Tue afternoons and Thursdays all day. Maybe we should meet before the term end gets too busy?
For everyone, how is:
-2pm Monday 1/26
-2pm Tuesday 1/27
-2pm Thursday 1/29

Hi folks,
Before too much more time slips away, I'd like to schedule one more C3 meeting for this year. Agenda items include:
1. Follow up on our one-on-one tutorials with ELP instructors
2. How to tackle the more philosophical issues of networked learning and collaborative work practices.
cf Owen's earlier email:
"From a C3 perspective, all learning should/must be networked, and this has to be understood & fully appreciated for what it means for teaching and learning. This understanding should then underpin all ELP reform.
Otherwise, I fear that despite everyone's best efforts, our reform will basically produce only an upgraded version of a broken model.
How can we start the discussion? What do you think?"
3. Planning for the next academic year.
4. Celebration of accomplishments so far.
Any thoughts on a good time for this meeting?
Cheers,
Bill
