Connections. Learning/teaching as a social activity. ELP = Distributed learning environment. Reforms that reform must involve reconfiguring the underlying structures and processes of the ELP, in other words 'how' work is done. Reform built on existing structures and systems will create a shinier version of an inefficient, outdated model; a Prius, when what we really need is a hovercraft. Reform needs to be about building such an organisation: one that can go quickly in any direction and travel well over any terrain - a dynamic organisation for dynamic times.
